COVID on my Mind

Monday 23 November, 8-9pm

It could be a long winter. Many of us are weary, we feel anxious and burdened. What does God have to say to us when we struggle with our mental health? How do we handle low energy or high anxiety, as disciples of Jesus Christ? Join us for an evening of Biblical wisdom, practical advice, and a chance to pray for one another.  Details on how to register your interest will appear here soon.

A Church that Prays

As we head into a second phase of lockdown, it’s wonderful to remember that we have a Loving Heavenly Father who is sovereign over every detail of what’s going on right now, and as we wrestle with the challenges of living during these turbulent times we can turn to him in prayer; trusting in his sovereign control and asking him for our every need.

We have just sent out our monthly prayer diary, if you haven’t received this please get in touch with  Please keep praying for the everything that’s going on at Saint James and the wider world.

There are two further opportunities to pray.

Our church buildings are open every Wednesday for private prayer.  Saint James Gerrards Cross will be open from 10am to 11am.  Saint James Fulmer will be open from 11am to 12:30pm.

If you specifically want to join with others in praying for Saint James, then please join Monday Prayer, a group on Zoom each Monday morning, from 9am for 30mins.  To join this group please email the office ( and they’ll put you in touch with Peter Mawditt & Jeremy Ellis.
